OK - You guys were great when I got stuck with the pound coin for shopping trolley thing, so here is my new dilema.

Now I know this isn't going to happen everyday, but the situation that arose today is becoming more of a problem. What happened is we had a fire alarm at work, now the hunky firemen were appreciated Love but the pain in my legs from standing around waiting for the building to be checked and let us back in was definatley not appreciated.ThumbDown

This is begining to happen more and more regularly, waiting in queues (particulaly at airports), waiting at the station when the waiting room is full etc, so I was wondering how usefull these perching stool walking stick things are. Does anyone have one? or give me some advice on which are best? I thought maybe one of the fold up ones so I can whip it out when needed.

Any advice appreciated!

Thanks

Adrienne

Hello

Just know what you mean. Last year I had to succumb to a walking stick - I modern coloured
one red with flowers on it. I bought at the local disability shop and I think cost me £20 ish.

I know no body wants to use one but unforutnatley it some times is a necessity.
I today have walked to the shops ( to have my hair done) with my stick , but as a woman
knows bought a few bits which I shouldn't have. Now though gosh am I struggling. Feet
up feeling sorry for my self this past hours. Just had cuppa and couple paracetamol so
will be better in a minute.

Would be interested to know if any one has one of the walking stick/seat thingy ! !
